The songs, some of which of anonymous, are performed for the greatest part in polyphony and reproduced as they have been picked up during the searches. For their execution it is used there of a poor but essential instrumentation that is tied up, the most possible, to the original and traditional characters: acoustic guitars, accordions, tambourines, "patapum", steels and "tra-tra". The dances are articulated in simple and explanatory choreographies representing situations of the life mariner that animated the Termoli of the past. They have enriched from movements effected with mariner utensils , also partly in disuse as creels, nets for sciabica, stremmatüre, schaffette, tremaglie, etc. The dress, reproduced faithfully in all details, it goes up again at the end of last century and it testifies the world of the job of the Termoli's people: simple that of the woman, sues to the matters of house, and extremely practical that of the man, free in the fatiguing movements of the job. |
